Collect bug reports and feature requests straight from your site
BugBasket is a lightweight feedback widget you add with a single script tag. Your users report what they see, and every report lands in your dashboard with a screenshot and the browser, OS and URL already attached.
Free plan forever • 14-day free trial • No credit card required
Everything you need to collect feedback
One widget for bugs and feature requests, and a dashboard to turn them into work.
Screenshot capture
Capture the full page, the visible area or a selection — no browser extension needed. Reporters can also upload or paste an image from their clipboard (up to 10MB).
Automatic metadata
Every report arrives with the browser, operating system and exact URL attached, so you can reproduce the issue without asking.
Inbox and board
Triage new reports in a shared inbox, then plan the work on a kanban board. Issue detail includes a screenshot viewer.
Search and filters
Find any report with filters and full search, or jump straight there with the ⌘K command palette.
Team and roles
Invite teammates and assign roles. Every workspace is isolated at the database level with Postgres row-level security.
Widget in 5 languages
The feedback widget speaks your users’ language out of the box, so international audiences report in their own words.
Launcher and theming
Choose a tab, icon or bubble launcher and match the widget to your project colours so it fits your product.
Webhooks and API
Send every new issue to your own tooling with webhooks, or pull and push data through the API.
EU-hosted and privacy-first
Your data is hosted in the EU and stays yours — never sold, never shared. The widget collects what a bug report needs, nothing more.
How it works
Live in three steps
Add the widget
Paste one script tag into your site. It loads asynchronously and stays under 50KB.
Your users report
They send a bug or a feature request with a screenshot. Browser, OS and URL are added automatically.
Triage and ship
Work through the inbox, plan on the board, and forward issues to your own tools with webhooks and the API.

On the roadmap
These are things we are building, not things you can use today. We would rather tell you now than let you find out after signing up.
Annotations
Draw and highlight directly on a screenshot before sending it.
Video recording
Record the screen for feedback that is hard to describe in text.
Native integrations
Two-way sync with the issue trackers and chat tools your team already uses.
JavaScript widget API
Open the widget, prefill fields and attach your own context from your code.

How do I install BugBasket?
Copy the script tag from your dashboard and paste it before the closing </body> tag of your site. It loads asynchronously, weighs less than 50KB and works with any framework or stack.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Every signup starts with a 14-day free trial with wider limits than the Free plan. When the trial ends you choose: upgrade to Pro, or continue on the Free plan. Nothing is downgraded silently and your data stays where it is.
What counts as an issue?
Every report submitted through the widget or the API counts as one issue. The people sending you feedback are reporters, and reporters are always unlimited — they never need an account.
How do issues reach my own tools?
Today through webhooks and the API: every new issue can be pushed to your own backend, chat or automation. Native integrations with two-way sync are on the roadmap.
Which browsers are supported?
All modern browsers, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Screenshot capture runs in the browser itself, so your users never install an extension.
Where is my data hosted?
BugBasket is a hosted product: your workspace runs on app.bugbasket.com, on infrastructure inside the EU. There is no self-hosted or on-premise version — we run and update it for you, so you only paste a script tag.
Ready to collect your first report?
Add one script tag and start your 14-day free trial. No credit card required, and a free plan waiting for you afterwards.
